After positioning the machine
Check that there are no impediments for opening the basin door and that there are no objects that could be damaged if steam comes
out from the appliance. Check that the machine has been correctly connected to its electrical, plumbing and trap connections. Then
level the machine using its leveling units (Fig. K page IV appendix I). In case a model AF2.60 is to be installed, the unit itself is to be
fixed to the wall using the anchoring kit and following the instructions at paragraph 7.3.9.
When installation is terminated remove the PVC guards that cover the panels, checking that the foreseen liquid drums are filled and
that the aspiration nozzles have been properly inserted into the corresponding drums. A label near the cap indicates the type of liquid
to use with each aspiration nozzle (Fig. I page IV appendix I).
The first time the appliance is started up make sure the pump is not seized (this can be caused by scale deposits which have formed
due to evaporation of residual water used when testing the appliance). If the pump does not function then release it using a
screwdriver to turn the central pin of the fan installed on the side opposite the impeller (Fig. M page IV appendix I).
It is important for all installation and adjustment procedures to be done by qualified
personnel according to current standards

Anchoring the machine to the floor (only AF2.60 models)
The machine's floor anchor kit consists of:
•
No.1 Allen wrench (CH5).
•
No.4 Flat washers;
•
No. 4 Self-tapping screws M5x60;
•
No.4 Plastic expansion plugs;
1.
Prepare the installation site by drilling No. 4 dia. 8 mm. holes in
the floor (according to the dimensions in drawing A so that an
expansion plug can be inserted into each hole);
2.
Insert a plug into each hole, making sure it does not extend
above the floor nor that it is too far into the hole;
3.
Install the machine according to the instructions in the
installation paragraph (paragraph 7.3);
4.
Insert a washer on each screw;
5.
Anchor the machine to the floor using the 4 screws as illustrated in drawing B.
NOTE: To best anchor the machine to the floor use all the 4 screws provided.

The arrow indicates the position of the wall (the wall is
shown on the bottom side of the drawing and is hatched).
NOTE: Dimensions are in millimeters.
Drawing B
Insert the screw and washer then use the Allen wrench furnished with the
anchor kit to securely tighten (but not excessively) the screw so that the
machine will not rock. To see if the machine is firmly anchored to the floor push
it sideways (on both sides). If the machine still moves then tighten all the 4
screws tighter.
