Text, data, copy prevention information and other data are superimposed in the vertical blanking interval (VBI) of
the TV standard signals, such as NTSC and PAL, and transmitted as multiplexed broadcasts.
The VG-876 supports the following functions.

(2) Closed caption/V-Chip
(3) Teletext
(4) WSS
(5) CGMS-A/ID-1
