Accessories, Page 30.

FIREPLACE CLEARANCES

 WARNING: Maintain the

minimum clearances shown
in Figure 7
. If you can, provide
greater clearances from fl oor,
ceiling and joining wall.

If your fi replace is to be used with an optional
mantel, the installation instructions included
with your mantel shows an approved method
of attaching the fi replace/mantel system to a
wall.

IMPORTANT:

 Only use optional cabinet

or corner mantels specifi ed in this manual.
Purchase the optional mantel from your dealer

(see Accessories, Page 30).

If your fi replace is to be recessed into the wall,
see

Built-In Fireplace Installation

on

Page 10

to secure your fi replace into the wall.

 CAUTION: If you install the

fi replace in a home garage
•  fi replace pilot and burner must

be at least 18" above fl oor.

• locate fi replace where moving

vehicle will not hit it.

For convenience and effi ciency,  install  fi re-
place
•  where there is easy access for operation,

inspection and service

•  in coldest part of room
An optional blower kit is available from your
dealer. See

Accessories, Page 30

. If planning

to use blower, follow instructions provided with
blower for power source.

BUILT-IN FIREPLACE INSTALLATION

Built-in installation of this fi replace  involves
installing fi replace into a framed-in enclosure.
This makes the front of fi replace fl ush with wall.
An optional trim kit accessory is available

(see

Accessories, Page 30).

 Trim will extend past

sides of fi replace approximately 1/2". This will
cover the rough edges of the wall opening. If
installing a built-in mantel above the fi replace,
you must follow the clearances shown in

Fig-

ure 9, Page 11

. Follow the instructions below

to install the fi replace in this manner.
