Chlorination (Electrolysis) Test
: Chlorination is activated for 20 seconds (positive and negative polarity). Visually
check whether you can see any bubbles present at the vessel outlet. Confirm to move on to the next test.
pH Test
: The pH pump is activated for 10 seconds. Visually verify whether it is turning normally. Confirm to move on
to the next test.
LED screen tests
: The LEDs blink for 5 seconds. Verify. Confirm and then exit the
auto-test
menu.
If you notice a malfunction in any of these tests, first check the connections (electrode connector and pH pump) and
restart the auto-test. If the problem continues, contact your vendor.
7 - Swimming pool volume
You can use this parameter to indicate the exact volume of your swimming pool. This
parameter is used for more accuracy in terms of certain alarms and to regulate pH. By
default, it is set to the proper volume for the electrode type in your device.
8 –List of alarms
When an alarm is set off, the LED
STATUS
is lit. The warning message i
ALARM
i also appears on the main screen.
To identify the alarm, you must enter this menu. The list of alarms set off is shown. Click on these alarms to get more
specific information.
List of alarms:
Replace electrode
Carry out maintenance on the electrode (see maintenance handbook). If the problem
continues, contact your vendor.
pH out of range
Check the pH in the swimming pool (6.8~7.5). Correct, if necessary. Verify the pH kit (pump,
tube, reservoir)
pH error
Verify the pH kit. If necessary, carry out maintenance on the pH sensor (cleaning and
calibration).
ORP error
Verify the chlorine level. If it is <0.5ppm, increase the filtering time and/or the % production. If
necessary, carry out maintenance on the pH sensor (cleaning and calibration).
No signal
Verify the electrode (connection, status). Verify the chlorine level. If necessary, performing
electrode maintenance
Low salt level
Your salt level is below 2.5 g/l. Add the indicated amount of salt The alarm may appear again
until the water is made homogeneous.
Lack of salt
Your salt level is below 2g/l. Add the indicated amount of salt The chlorinator shuts down.
Flow rate problem
Low water level or no water. Verify the filtration system. Check the flow rate detector.
Winter mode
Indication that the water has reached the setpoint temperature. Chlorine production is
adjusted to protect the electrodes.
Winter shutoff
The water has reached the setpoint temperature. Chlorine production has stopped for winter.
System error
Restart the device. If the problem continues, contact your vendor.
Fatal temperature
Internal temperature too high. Please, air out the chlorinator's technical location or protect it
from the sun.
All of the alarms require the user's intervention in order for restarting to occur.
Warning: An alarm may be active when the values displayed on the screen or measured are correct. Restart the
device. If it no longer appears, this means it was set off by a temporary phenomenon that has been dealt with.
9 – Restarting
The factory-set values are restored for all of the user parameters.
