This type of control is recommended in well mixed systems, and enables a good level of control. It
is very suitable for controlling both the pH and the chlorine.
One the length of the modulating period of Ton and of Toff has been chosen, it is advisable to keep
an eye on the measurements for the first working period, in order to optimise the times.
The minimum Ton value of
MON
enables the SET POINT to be approached with a degree of
metering sufficient to exceed it. Otherwise, the pump might always run at the minimum in the
vicinity of the set point, without ever stopping.
Example:
If the following values are set, proportional control in time will be obtained with a minimum Ton of
the metering pump in the region of the Set Point.
