HYDROMASSAGE RECLINER
INSTALLATION
MANUAL
1 GENERAL FEATURE
Our
HYDROMASSAGE RECLINERS
are
manufactured in
AISI-316
stainless steel, with
an ergonomic design for maximum comfort. In
the column model, a handgrip is supplied,
which can be located on either side.
The operation is based on the injection of air to
achieve a massage able to relax the muscula-
ture of the organism.
The hydromassage should last more than 10
minutes at one time, and should be combined
with intervals of rest.
Each hydromassage recliner requires an airflow
of 80 m
3
/hr to 100 m
3
/hr at a pressure that will
be defined by the maximum depth of the instal-
lation (see pressure height in fig. 3 and fig. 5).
2 INSTALLATION
A by-pass should be installed in the pump to
control the flow of the recliner (see fig. 1).
The PVC pipes through which the air circula-
tes should be
90 PN10.
Each turbo-boost pump should be prepared
for a "siphon" to be installed with a height of
200 to 300 mm. above the water level. Its
purpose is to prevent the water from reaching
the pump when the pump is switched off.
An anti-return valve, preferably a flap-type
valve, can optionally be installed between the
"siphon" and the pump.
To define the power of the pump, the load
losses caused by the air circuit and the maxi-
mum depth of the installation with regard to
the water level of the pool, should be taken
into account.
As an example: A turbo-boost pump is recom-
mended with a minimum flow of 120 m
3
/hr and
a minimum working pressure of 160 mbar,
positioned approximately 8 m. from the
anchoring and controlled by means of the
by-pass.
A 550 mm. tube should be installed in the
pump suction at an slope of 45º, in order to
avoid impurities that may be at the ground
level where it is anchored, from being suc-
tioned.
2.1 THE HYDROMASSAGE RECLINERS
WITH COLUMN
Require the following accessories for installa-
tion:
A concrete anchoring, code 19983 or a liner
anchoring, code 15883.
A column, code 31997, adapted to the depth
of the pool where it is to be installed.
The length of the column can be determined
in fig. 7.
3 MAINTENANCE
This product is manufactured using rust-resis-
tant materials. However, minimum care is requi-
red for optimum preservation. The surface of
the metal parts should be periodically cleaned
with suitable products, preventing lime deposits.
Do not use abrasive products that may scratch
the surface.
4 SAFETY WARNINGS
The persons who are in charge of assembly
should have the required qualifications for
this type of work.
Comply with the current standards regarding
accident prevention.
The manufacturer is not responsible in any
circumstances for assembly, installation or
start-up of any components which have been
inserted or handled at locations other than its
own premises.
In order to avoid accidents, the hydro-
massage recliners must be installed in
reserved areas, with safety warning signs
and isolated within the swimming pool.
