Plumbing:
Fit cold ( on left) and hot ( on right ) outlets, terminating with 3/4” BSP washing machine isolation
valves, pointing upwards at 150mm maximum above the floor and offset to the left of the centre
line of the unit by 15mm. These feeds will be enclosed by 50x75mm trunking upon installation. An
1¼” waste pipe needs to be fitted at 150mm maximum above the floor, offset to the right of the
centre line of the unit by 80mm.
Electrics:
The ABW6 is supplied with mains electric (30v) and transformed to 4v within the unit. A battery
backup is fitted as standard. A 30mA RCD protected fused spur is required, with flush mounted a
flex outlet cover, on the wall behind the unit at a height of 1100mm from the floor on the centreline
of the unit.
Fixing:
The basin assembly should be fixed to a load bearing wall (i.e. strong enough to carry a 100kg load
on wall fixing) which is flat and free from obstruction from 200mm – 2200mm above the floor. If
the basin needs to be fixed to a stud wall, the wall will need special reinforcement, either noggins
as shown above or 5mm (1 inch) marine or exterior plywood should be used to cover the entire
fixing area, secured to the wall every 200mm.
