Opening and Closing the Tailgate

Latch (x2)
To open:
Unhook the latches, and then
lower the tailgate.
To close:
Place the tailgate in the original position, and then hook the latches.
Lifting and Lowering the Cargo Bed
1. Cargo bed release lever
To lift:
Push down the release lever on the left
or right side of the vehicle, and then
slowly lift up the cargo bed until it stops.
To lower:
Lower the cargo bed slowly to its original position and be sure that it is locked
into place.
