9. Set the volume control options as required.
Control Description
Volume Control Enables or disables the
volume control facility on the
WMC01 device.
Step Changes the step size (in dB)
for one WMC01 button press
Minimum The maximum reduction from
the commissioned output gain
which the operator will be
allowed to apply.
Also
the value of gain
reduction will be applied when
the user presses the ‘Mute’
button on the WMC01 front
panel.
Maximum The minimum reduction from
the commissioned output gain
which the operator will be
allowed to apply.
10. Save the configuration file and load into the VIPEDIA-12 with the FTT as usual. The WMC01 will automatically reboot.
11. Once the WMC01 has rebooted, move the cable from Router 1 to Router 2.
12. The WMC01 should now boot into the user interface screen e.g.
If the device fails to boot into the user interface screen, please see section 5 Troubleshooting below.
3.5 Configuration (IP Mode)
1. Configure the system as described in 3.4 Configuration (Analogue Mode) - steps 1 to 4.
2. Add a WMC01-IP to an unused audio input. Note: this audio input will be connected over IP to the local 3.5mm jack
socket on the front panel of the WMC01 and will be available in the list of selectable inputs if required.
Audio Input X -> Add -> WMC01-IP
3. Note the MAC address from the sticker on the back of the WMC01 device.
