OPERATION

Switching Off one cooking zone

One cooking zone is switched On. The display shows a power level between 1 and 9, or ‘P’.
1. Press the selection key from the cooking zone to be switched Off.
2. Press the - key to set the power level to zero ‘0’.

The cooking zone switches Off. The hob switches Off after 20 seconds, if all cooking
zones are set to zero ‘0’ and no other function is being used.

Switching Off all cooking zones

Several cooking zones are active.
1. Press the On/Off key to switch Off all cooking zones.

You will hear a three acoustic signals. All displays are Off. The hob is switched Off.

After intensive use, the cooking zone used may stay hot for several minutes. If the
cooking zone is still hot an “H” will flash in the display.

Locking the induction hob

Activate the lock function

1. Press 1 second the lock key until you hear an acoustic signal.

The lock indicator appears above the lock key. The lock function is activated.

De-activate the lock function

1. Press 1 second the ock key until you hear an acoustic signal.

▷

The lock indicator will disappear. The lock function is de-activated.

Set the hob to the lock mode before starting to clean the hob. This will prevent switching
On the hob by accident. The lock function can be activated when the hob is in use
(cooking zones are active) or when the hob is switched Off. If the hob is in use, the lock
function locks all keys, except for the On/Off key and the lock key. If the hob is switched
Off, the lock function locks all keys, except for the lock key.

The lock function is always activated when the appliance is connected to the power
mains or after the power supply has been disconnected.
