Preliminary inspections and locations
The waterworks must be installed in such a place as
to avoid the risk of flooding. Place the water station
in a well-ventilated and weather-protected place. The
waterworks can be connected to practically all water
distribution systems with distribution pipes of suf
-
ficient diameter.
! The device must always be disconnected from the
power supply during installation.
! For safety reasons, check and make sure that the
power cord and plug are not damaged before using
the device. It is forbidden to use the waterworks if it is
damaged in any way.
! During operation, it is necessary to keep the device
in a dry and well-ventilated environment with a steplot
temperature below 35 ° C.
! Sand and stones sucked in by water can wear out
the device quickly and reduce its performance. To
avoid sucking in sand, stones or other dirt, a filter
must be installed in front of the appliance (filter not
included).
Pipe connection (B)
- Before starting the device, it is necessary to install
inlet and outlet pipes to the waterworks. The supply
pipe is used to supply water from a water source
(well, tank) to the device. The outlet pipe ensures the
transfer of water from the appliance to the place of
consumption (eg water tap, etc.). To minimize fric
-
tion losses, we recommend using a drain pipe with a
minimum diameter ¾ “.
Water pump suction
Screw in the suction hose (eg plastic hose with spi
-
ral reinforcement) either directly or by means of a
reducer with a thread that is screwed on the suction
pump (1 ”IG).
The suction hose used must be equipped with a suc
-
tion basket, which includes a non-return valve.
The suction hose rises from the water suction point to
the pump. The air in the suction line prevents water
from being sucked in, which will damage or destroy
the pump.
Suction and pressure lines must be connected in
such a way that they do not cause mechanical stress
on the pump.
The suction line must be immersed in the water so
deep that it is not possible for the pump to run empty.
Pay special attention to a good connection between
the supply pipe and the waterworks. A loose connec
-
tion will reduce the actual performance of the device
or the device will not work. If the suction pipe has a
length of less than 5 meters, it is recommended to
use a pipe with a diameter of 1 ”. If the supply pipe
has a length of more than 5 meters, a pipe with a
diameter of 1¼ is recommended.
If the appliance is used for domestic water supply or
automatic water supply, a non-return valve must be
installed on the supply pipe immediately (non-return
valve not included). Otherwise, the system pressure
will be reduced when the automatic circuit breaker
is switched on, which may mean frequent or uncon
-
trolled switching on / off. If the device restarts, it can
suck in quickly. At the same time, you avoid a sharp
drop in pressure and possible rupture of the hose.
It is also possible to install an additional base valve
on the front of the supply line (additional base valve
not included). The vertical length of the supply pipe
between the waterworks and the surface of the res
-
ervoir should not exceed 8 meters and the horizontal
length should also not be too large.
Pressure / drain / hose connection
The pressure-drain hose must be connected to the
connection point of the pump for the pressure line (1
“IG) either directly or by means of a threaded adapter.
Check that the drain hose is long enough.
Check that the location of the drain hose allows drain
-
age without any risk. All shut-off devices (spray noz
-
zles, valves, etc.) must be fully open during start-up
so that all air can escape from the suction path.
Before first use, unscrew the thread lo
-
cated on the top of the pump and fill
the water pump with water. (10) (C)
Pressurizing the tank with air
Before starting the water station for the first time,
the air pressure in the tank must be 1.5 bar. If this is
not the case, it is necessary to blow air into the tank
through the air valve, which is located at the back of
the tank. Unscrew the air valve cover and use a pump
or compressor to top up the pressure in the tank to
1.5 bar.
Water pump start
Place the pump on a level and firm base.
Connect the suction hose ready for use.
Connect the power supply.
Flood the pump from the pressure line side.
All shut-off devices (spray nozzles, valves, etc.) must
be fully open during start-up so that all air can escape
from the suction path.
Check that the pump rotates correctly. Note the back
of the pump: the fan must rotate in the direction
indicated on the fan cover.
Depending on the suction head and the amount of air
on the suction side, the pump can start from 30 sec
-
onds to 1 minute. As soon as the start-up lasts longer
