Environmental Policy
Through intelligent design and careful selec on of materials, Ashton
Bentley is commi ed to designing and manufacturing products that
industry sector leaders in minimising the eff ect on the environment.
Ashton Bentley products use as many natural materials as possible that
require minimal level of processing, treatment and fi nishing.
All Ashton Bentley products are manufactured and assembled in the UK
in a carefully managed environment, minimising environmental eff ects
in all process and procedures.
Ashton Bentley – Materials and Manufacture
All Ashton Bentley products are manufactured primarily from natural
base metals with a minimum amount of treatments and fi nishes
applied. This intelligent product design, with a view to managing the
future recycling process, allows the majority of product components
to easily be disassembled, recycled and re-used without the use of
specialist equipment.
Ashton Bentley products are on average made from >98% recyclable
materials which we believe is the highest in class in the current
market. Ashton Bentley design is con nually developing design and
manufacturing processes to minimise the amount od raw materials
used whilst endeavouring to increase the percentage od materials that
can be easily recycled and re-used.
Packaging
Ashton Bentley packaging has been designed to be as light as possible
and use the minimum amount of material required to provide
protec on of the product during transport and shipping.
Where possible, in our packaging, we have used recycled materials and
all parts of our product packaging can be easily recycled or retained for
future use.
Recycling Ashton Bentley
All Ashton Bentley products have been designed to provide many years
of trouble-free service, however, when the me comes to replace your
Ashton Bentley system, Ashton Bentley and its dealers and distributors
off er a fully inclusive program under the European WEEE direc ve
2012/19/EU and its subsequent amendments.
Whereby the recycling of all Ashton Bentley products will be provided
free of charge.
