12.B - Start Up Messaging

On ini  al power up the screen module will display the Ashton Bentley copyright and patent details together 
with the Ashton Bentley fi rmware version installed as well as the systems IP address.

“Copyright Ashton Bentley – All rights reserved – Patent Applica  on No. 1208601.3”

As the Codec ini  alises the following self-explanatory messages will appear in sequence

“Looking for codec”
“Codec found – wai  ng for codec to start”
“Codec found – Communica  ons OK”

The fi nal message “Codec found – Communica  ons OK” indicates that the system is fully func  oning and the 
abox

TM

 is communica  ng with the codec installed in the unit.

If the system should fail to boot correctly please contact your re
