The chip-set used in the CPU 1021/A is the Intel
® ICH8M
The chip Intel
®
GME965 is a northbridge which acts as a memory
controller and integrated graphic controller. It works towards the CPU
with FSB up to 800MHz and on the DDR2 memory side up to
667MHz.
The chip Intel ® ICH8M is a southbridge. It integrates the
management of the PCI and PCIE BUS, the SATA host controller for
3 ports, IDE controller (1 channel with Master and Slave), 8 ports
USB 2.0, 1 controller LAN Gigabit, the power management and the
AT standard peripherals.
DRAM system memory
On the motherboard, you can insert up to two SoDIMM modules
with 200 pins with a capacity of up to 2GB each.
Each module must be DDR2 at 1.8 V,
unbuffered , no parity,
PC5300, with frequency of the bus at 667 MHz.
