The user can connect the first GageMux to the PC with either the USB
output or the RS232 output.

Connected to PC (USB or RS232)

Daisy Chain Unit #1

Connect unit #2 to unit #1 by
connecting the RS-232 on #2 to
the daisy chain pass-thru on unit
#1

Daisy Chain Unit #2

Connect unit #3 to unit #2 by
connecting the RS-232 on #3 to
the daisy chain pass-thru on #2

Daisy Chain Unit #3

Continue to connect the rest of the daisy chain units as above. Power can
be provided to each daisy chain unit through the serial RS-232 cables. One
out of every five GageMux® for 4-port GageMux® or one out of every
three GageMux® for 8-port GageMux® must have an AC/DC 9-volt
power supply.
