Installing Network Drivers
Microsoft Windows for Workgroups v3.11
This section explains how to install the drivers to use the AsantéFast 10/100
PCI Rev B. Adapter with Windows for Workgroups 3.11

Start Windows for Workgroups.

From the Program Manager, double-click the
Network
group
icon.

Double-click the
Network Setup
icon.

Click the
Networks
... button from the
Network Setup
window.

Select
Install Microsoft Windows Network
radio button.

Click the radio button for
No Additional network
.

Click the
OK
button or press Enter to get back to
Network
Setup
window

Click the
Drivers..
. button.

Click the
Add Adapter..
. button.

Select
Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter
from the
Add
Network Adapte
r window.

Click the
OK
button. The
Install Driver
window appears.

Insert the Asante PCI Adapter Driver Disk into drive A.

Type the following in the text box:
A:\WFW
The text A:\ may already be provided for you.

Click the OK button or press Enter.
The
Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter
window appears
and
AsantéFast 10/100 PCI Rev B Adapter
is listed in the
window.

Click the
OK
button to get back to the
Network Drivers
win-
dow.

Close
button to get back to
Network Setup
window.
