5.1.3. Single Channel Output Section

The Output section is dominated by the prominent Glowing Output Level lamp indicator

positioned at the top of the control panel. This indicator, which replaces the usual VU meter,

glows in a way resembling the vacuum tubes. It will change color continuously, from green

(lower gain volume) to orange (between reference level and -1dBFS) and bright red when

the signal reaches the analog clipping level.

The glowing sensitivity may be calibrated using the option in the right-hand part of the lower

toolbar.

The Single Channel Output only has another control, which is the Output Trim knob. This

knob controls the Output Volume, and the Glowing Output Level indicator will reflect its

action. The range varies between -24dB and +24dB, with the default value at 0dB (middle

position).
