Services

This section lists PCIE-9205 specific services started or executed at boot time via

systemd

Service files are available in the

/usr/lib/systemd/system

directory.

For more information about common PCIE card services, refer to

MaxCore™ MC3000 Platform

Software Installation and Use

manual.

6.2.3.1

Switch Software

switchd.service

is responsible of switch management. This service provides interface for

functionalities including L2, L3, Server Load balancing, and match-lists. The service can be
started, stopped, and monitored via

systemctl

. This service is started at the boot time and

it is always expected to be active and running for managing switch.

6.2.4

Tools

This section provides PCIE-9205/MaxCore specific software are installed in

/opt/bladeservices
