NOTE
Use the multi-stack-port command to remove stacking trunks and restore stacking ports on a live system.

1. Enter global configuration mode.

ICX7150-24 Router(config)# configure terminal

2. (Optional) Use the show stack command to check the stack topology and status.

The example shows a three-unit stack with all units in the Ready state. The units are connected in a ring formation, but
there is no trunk between units 1 and 2. The trunk is formed in the following steps.

3. Enter stack unit configuration mode.

4. Enter the multi-stack-trunk command followed by the range of ports to include in the trunk on the connecting stack

units.

ICX7150-24 Router(config-unit-1)# multi-stack-trunk 1/3/1 to 1/3/2 and 2/3/1 to 2/3/2

The example creates a two-port stacking trunk containing ports 1/3/1 and 1/3/2 on stack unit 1 and ports 2/3/1 and
2/3/2 on stack unit 2.
