6. Norms and certifications
All the models of refrigerated cabinets described in this manual for use of the series
Ginevra 2
meet the essential safety, hygiene, and protection requisites established by
the following European directives and laws:

application of Directive CEE 97/23 (PED) based on what established by Article 3,
paragraph 3 of the same Directive.

The electrical devices may be dangerous to health. The norms and laws in
force must be complied with during installation and use.

DO NOT remove protections or panels that require the use of tools to be
removed.

Use of the cabinet IS PROHIBITED:
- by children
- by staff:
- with reduced physical and sensory conditions
- or lack of experience and knowledge regarding use of the cabinet
- who cannot safely use the cabinet without supervision or instructions.
- who are not sober or are under the effect of narcotics.

This Arneg S.p.A. product lies within the 2002/96/CE Directive
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment),
aimed
at blocking the increase of said
waste, promoting recycling and decreasing disposal. The crossed bin symbol present on the
product plate declares that: the product has been put on the market after 13 August 2005, the
product is included in the obligation of separate collection and can not be treated as household
waste or be scrapped.
It is the user's responsibility to deliver the product intended to be dismantled to the collection
centre specified by the local Authority for professional WEEE recovery and recycling.
If the product is replaced with a new one, the user can request the dealer to take the old
product, regardless of its brand.
It is the producer's responsibility to make recovery, disposal of end of life treatment of their
products feasible, either directly or through the collective system. Breaches of the Standard
envision specific sanctions, fixed independently, with its own law, by each individual State
Member of the EU and binding in accordance with all those who are subject to these rules. On
considering this product a WEEE, Arneg S.p.A. interprets the Orgalime guidelines, taking into
account the implementation, by the Italian law with Legislative Decree no. 151 dated 15 July
2005, both of the 2002 / 96/EC Directive, and the 2002/95/EC (RoHS) Directive, relating to use
of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

applied to the product sold outside the European Community.
