■ Once everything is done, select the “Make and Program Device
Main Project”

○ When the programming is finished, unplug the programmer from your
computer.
○ Extract the PIC the same way you extracted it from the controller,
alternately twisting a flat, preferably non-metallic tool between the chip
and the socket.
