ARMIGA User Guide v0.8
5.4.8.1.
Multiple drive support
Armiga supports up to 4 “virtual floppy disk drives”, so up to 4 game disks can be accessed at
any given time. However, this is transparent to the user and it does always keep the 4 mos
recently used disks.
This means that in most multi-disk games, each disk should only need to be inserted once and
will be cached for future accesses, significantly reducing the disk changes without adding any
overhead for the user.
5.5.
Network Management
5.5.1.
Connecting to Armiga by network
To avoid excessive extraction of the Armiga SD card, a network connection is provided.
For using it, you must connect the Armiga to your local network by inserting a cable into the
Ethernet port placed in a side of the Armiga.
In your personal computer, we recommend to install the graphic client
FileZilla
. You can
download it from this link. This client works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
