CORRECTIVE ACTION
The Command is not

Insert battery or install correctly.

Replace the battery.
Battery surfaces or contacts are
dirty or corroded.
Clean the contact surfaces with a pencil
eraser and/or alcohol and cotton swabs.
Remote control unit is damaged.
Please contact Customer Support.
Poor image quality.
Check objective lens and
eyepieces focus.
Refocus.
Check for fogging or dirt on
objective lens and eyepieces.
Clean the lenses as detailed in Part 4.3.2.
The equipment is damaged.
Please contact Customer Support.
No image on an
external monitor.
Video cable is damaged.
Replace the video cable with a new one.
If this is not effective, please contact
Customer Support.
The equipment is damaged.
Please contact Customer Support.
Hindered rotation of
the battery cap.
Dirty cap thread.
Clean the thread.
Damaged cap thread.
Replace the cap with a new one. If this
is not effective, please contact Customer

Light is visible around
eyecups.
Check eyecups resilience.
If the eyecups are defective, please
contact Customer Support.
4.3 MAINTENANCE
4.3.1 GENERAL
The Command operator maintenance consists of operational tests, inspections for unit serviceability,
cleaning and mounting procedures, and corrective actions (troubleshooting and replacement of a limited
number of parts). Maintenance instructions covered elsewhere in this manual (PMCS, troubleshooting,
etc.) are not repeated in this section.

The Command is a precision electro-optical instrument and must be handled carefully at all times to
prevent damage.

DO NOT dismantle the equipment.
