Management
Option
This field allows you to select the type (or degree)
of power saving and is directly related to the
following modes:
Ø
Doze Mode
Ø
Suspend Mode
There are three selections for Power Management,
three of which have fixed mode settings.
User Define
(Default)
Allows you to set each mode
individually. When not disabled ,
each of the ranges are from 1Min
sec. to 1 Hour.
Min. Saving Minimum power management.
Doze Mode
= 1 Hour,
Suspend
Mode
= 1 Hour.
Max. Saving Maximum power management --
Doze Mode
= 1 Min,
Suspend
Mode
=1 Min
HDD Power Down
When enabled and after the set time of system
inactivity, the hard disk drive will be powered down
while all other devices remain active.
The choice: 1 Min- 15Min, Disabled
(Default)
PM Control by
APM
When enabled, an Advanced Power Management
device will be activated to enhance the Max.
Saving mode and stop the CPU internal clock. If
Advance Power Management (APM) is installed on
your system, selecting Yes
(Default)
gives better
power savings.
If the Max. Saving is not enabled, this will be preset
to
No
.
