2. Run with gas stabilizer in fuel. Screen in carburetor will glaze
shut if gas stabilizer is not used before storage.
3. Drain the fuel tank. Run the engine until it stops.
4. While engine is still warm, drain the oil from the engine. Refill
with fresh oil of the recommended grade.
5. Remove spark plug, pour one-half ounce of clean engine oil into
cylinder. Pull starter handle slowly several times to distribute oil.
Replace spark plug.
6. Clean entire tiller, especially cylinder, cylinder head fins, blower
housing, rotating screen, and muffler areas.
7. Store your tiller in a clean, dry building.

Check Tire Pressure
Recommended tire pressure is 20 PSI. If tires do not have equal
pressure, tiller will pull to one side.

Throttle Adjustment
After first 3 hours of operation, or if engine is hard to start or run-on
occurs, repeat throttle control adjustment procedure (
Unpacking and
Assembly
, page 12).
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Do not store tiller in an unventilated area where
fuel fumes may reach flame, sparks, pilot lights
or an ignited object. Drain fuel outdoors away
from any ignition sources. Use only approved
fuel containers.
