11. Speedometer/Tachometer - Indi-
cates the approximate vehicle speed
in miles per hour (MPH), kilometers
per hour (KPH), or RPM.
12. Oil Pressure Indicator - Will be dis-
played during normal operation as
oil pressure is not monitored on
these models.
13. Seat Belt Reminder Indicator - Each
time the ignition switch is turned ON,
the indicator light will illuminate for
approximately eight seconds to
remind occupants to secure their seat
belts.
Condition Warning Display - Uses odom-
eter/trip meter display of the LCD to
warn of a system error condition requir-
ing attention.
A. Volt - The LCD will go blank
except the word VOLT will flash
on the LCD whenever a low volt-
age (< 9 DC volts) or a high volt-
age (> 16 DC volts) is detected.
When voltage returns to normal,
the gauge must be reset by turning
the ignition key to the OFF posi-
tion and then to the ON position.
B. ECM - The ECM (engine control
module) monitors many engine
and chassis conditions and in the
event of a failure, the ECM will
illuminate the service icon on the
digital gauge and a DTC (digital
trouble code) will flash in the
clock/hour meter section of the
gauge. (Example: P012 or C1234)
These codes can be generated by
something as simple as a blown
fuse or as complicated as fuel
injection malfunctions.
NOTE: Take the vehicle to an
authorized Arctic Cat ROV dealer to
have the DTC corrected.
Electric Fuel Pump
An electric fuel pump is mounted in the
gas tank to deliver gasoline to the fuel
injector. The fuel pump operates when
the ignition switch is turned to the ON or
START position.
Gas Hoses
Replace the gas hose every two years.
Damage from aging may not always be
visible.
Oil Level Stick
There is an oil level stick for checking
the engine oil level. To check the oil
level, use the following procedure.
NOTE: The vehicle should be on
level ground when checking the
engine oil level.
1. Lift the cargo box.
2. From the left side, unscrew the oil
level stick and wipe it with a clean
cloth.
3. Install the oil level stick.
NOTE: The oil level stick should be
threaded in for checking purposes.
4. Remove the oil level stick; the engine
oil level must be within the operating
range but not exceeding the upper
mark.
! WARNING
The seat belt indicator is only a
reminder and automatically extin-
guishes after approximately eight
seconds. It does not indicate that
seat belts are properly secured. It is
the operator’s responsibility to
ensure all vehicle occupants are
properly seated with seat belts
secure and occupant side restraints
are properly secured. Serious injury
or death could occur as a result of
falling outside a moving vehicle.
