F. Oil Pump

NOTE: Steps 14-18 in the preceding sub-section

must precede this procedure.

19. Remove the rotor/flywheel (see Rotor/Flywheel in

this sub-section).

20. Remove the starter drive gear and place together

with the rotor/flywheel to keep the one-way clutch
bearing intact.

21. Remove the two cap screws securing the oil baffle to

the crankcase and remove the baffle; then remove the
snap ring securing the oil pump driven sprocket.

22. Remove the oil pump drive chain and oil pump

driven sprocket.

the crankcase and remove the oil pump.
