1. Take the device out of the packaging and remove all
fi
lms and stickers that may be
present. Check the device for any transport damage. If you
fi
nd any damage to it, do
not (!) use it, but contact our customer service department.
2. Tighten the nut on the screw.
3. Guide the screw with the nut from below through the opening in the middle of the
skewer holder (

) and
fi
x it in place with a
fi
nger.
4. Tighten the carrying handle (

) on the screw from above.
5. Clean the main unit (

) with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Clean the
accessory parts with a little detergent and warm water.
6. Dry all components thoroughly.
7. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant,
fl
at surface with suf
fi
cient clearance on all
sides and above (around 30 cm).
8. The mains plug should be connected to a plug socket that has been properly installed.
9. Switch on the device by moving the On / Off switch (

) to the
I
(On) position. The
operating lamp lights up. Allow the device to heat up for around 5 minutes to remove
any production residues.
10. Switch off the device by moving the On / Off switch (

) to the
0
(Off) position.
11. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
12. Allow the device to cool down and clean it again.

CAUTION!

The food must not come into contact with the heating element! The heating
element could be damaged and smoke could be produced.
■
Never use the device without the splash and heat guard. Make sure that it is
fi
tted
correctly before you start operating the device.

Danger of injury!
The skewers have sharp points. Take care when handling them.
■
Danger of burns!
The device will become hot during use. Make sure that you do
not come into contact with heated parts such as the housing, the heating element or
accessory parts while or after using the device. We recommend that you wear oven
gloves when handling the device. Only clean, transport or store away the device and
accessory parts once they have cooled down completely.
The skewers (

) can be used to grill mixed and vegetarian skewers, seafood,
sausages, kebabs and mini doner kebabs.
1. Place the fat collecting cups (

) onto the hubs in the bottom of the main unit (

2. For mini kebabs cut the meat you want to use into slices or for skewers cut the food
into pieces of roughly equal size.
