3. Place the slices of meat or pieces of food onto the skewers (

).
•
CAUTION! Pieces of food which are too wide may stop the skewers (8)
from rotating. The pieces of food must not protrude beyond the edge
of the fat collecting cups (9) or must be no wider than the diameter of
the fat collecting cups (9).
• Do not place too many pieces of food onto the skewers (
8
). The skewers (
8
)
should be able to easily be inserted into the device.
4. Guide the skewers (
8
) with the narrow side as far as they will go into the recesses on
the skewer holder (

). Rotate the skewers (
8
) slightly if necessary so that they slip
down a little.
5. Guide the bottom ends of the skewers (
8
) into the middle of the fat collecting cups (
9
).
Make sure that the ends t in the grooves which are provided for them!
6. Place the splash and heat guard (
10
) onto the main unit (

) from above.
7. Switch on the device by moving the On / Off switch (
7
) to the
I
(On) position. The
device starts to heat up. The operating lamp lights up and the skewers (
8
) rotate.
During the cooking process, remove the splash and heat guard (
10
) from time to
time and check on the food being grilled. Please remove any grease remnants etc.
from the surface of the glass tube (
11
) with a cloth after each use. CAUTION!
The splash and heat guard (
10
) becomes hot during use!
8. When the meat is brown enough, switch the device off by moving the On / Off
switch (
7
) to the
0
(Off) position. The operating lamp goes out.
9. Remove the splash and heat guard (
10
) from the main unit (

). When you do so,
always hold the plastic handles on the sides of the splash and heat guard (
10
)! We
recommend that you also use oven gloves or something similar.
10. Remove the skewers (
8
) with the cooked grilled food from the main unit (
4
).
CAUTION!
During operation the handles of the skewers (
8
) become hot! Allow them
to cool down before the skewers (
8
) are removed. We recommend that you wear
oven gloves when handling the device.
11. Disconnect the device from the mains power after use and allow it to cool down
before you clean it or store it away.
Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!

Always pull out the mains plug and allow the device to cool down before cleaning it.
■
The main unit and the accessory parts are
not
dishwasher-safe!
■
Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the device.
■
Never
immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liq-
uids. There is the risk of an electric shock.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to
clean the device. These could damage the surfaces.
■
Never wind the mains cable tightly around the device for storage.
