5.3. Probe 

connections 

 

For correct boiler operation the water temperature probes and safety thermostat sensor must be positioned 
correctly. The control unit comes pre-wired with the outlet probe S4 - 3 m of cable (terminals 47, 48 page 15), 

the return probe S5 - 3 m of cable (terminals 45, 46 page 15) and the safety thermostat (terminals 63, 64 
page15).  
These must be positioned as shown in the following figure: 

 

 

 

5.4.  Flue gas probe connection 

 

 

The flue gas probe is already wired on the
electronic board to terminals 31 – 32, as shown
in the figure on page 15. 
This must be fitted at the rear of the boiler: 
near the chimney attachment is a socket for
inserting the probe.
