3) Countersweights
Your device has been delivered with a quantity of counterweight depending on the length of the
pantograph arms.
It is
imperative
to leave the amount of initial counterweight on the device.
Any
lack
of counterweight makes the device
unusable
.
During the maintenances of your device our
technicians will be able to control the good presence of adapted counterweights.
B - Daily use of launching
1) Transfer of person
•
Lock both rear brakes at the time of transfer. Do not unlock the rear wheels during a transfer as
the lift may move and cause injury.
•
Lift 1 or 2 stabilizing arms / armrests according to the need of the person.
•
Keep your fingers and hands away from the 2 masts of the lift during use.
•
Raise or lower the seat to the correct height for transfer.
•
Pass the user onto the seat, making sure his body is centered on the seat.
•
Swivel down the stabilizer arms / armrests.
•
Fasten the belt.
•
If the user has a wheelchair, keep it nearby for easy retrieval.
2) Bassin approach
•
Go to the place of launching after placing the brake pad.
•
Do not skirt the pool within 1m of the edge of the pool and the beach does not exceed 2 °
inclination. Position the Unikart on the brake pad arriving directly on.
•
Lock the 2 rear wheel brakes once the unit is correctly seated.
•
Keep your fingers and hands away from the 2 masts of the lift during use.
•
The person is ready to be launched.
3) Descent into the water
WARNING ! Before each use check that the charge level is sufficient for the use of the device. If
a beep sound occurs when pressing the button on the remote control, the battery is less than
20% discharged, do not use the device and charge it.
Lower the seat into the water using the remote control / or control box (with battery) by pressing the
down arrow button.
Once the person is deep enough into the water, detach the seat belt by pulling on the end of the belt.
Keep your fingers and hands away from the 2 masts of the lift during use.
