Now, the Homarus aquarium is ready to be filled with water.
After filling, all screw connections and pipework has to be checked on tightness. If necessary, the
screw connections have to be pulled tight.
Flow
Please note that the necessary flow rate in the aquarium is dependent on kind and quantity of
livestock to be housed. The Ocean Runner OR 3500 provides a flow of approx. 3,000 litres per
hour. This circulation is enough for filtering. We recommend to install additional current pumps in
the aquarium (depending on maintained animals).
