Battery (03_17, 03_18)

To access the battery, proceed as follows:

. Rest the vehicle on its centre stand;

. Open the saddle following the above instructions, see the «Saddle» section;

. Remove the piston ring «

» and take off the battery cover.

The battery is the electrical device that requires the most frequent inspections. The
most relevant maintenance rules to be observed are as follows:

Make sure that the terminals are connected correctly. When a new battery is installed,
the correct time and date must be reset on the digital instrument panel.
