Cleaning the vehicle (04_34,
04_35, 04_36)
Clean the scooter frequently if ex-
posed to adverse conditions, such as:
•
Air pollution (cities and industrial
areas).
•
Salinity and humidity in the at-
mosphere (seashore areas, hot
and wet weather).
•
Special environmental/season-
al conditions (use of salt, anti-
icing chemical products on the
roads in winter).
•
Pay special attention to prevent
deposits on the bodywork, such
as industrial dusts and pollu-
tants, tar spots, dead insects,
birds droppings, etc. Avoid park-
ing under trees. During some
seasons, resins, fruits or leaves
containing aggressive chemical
substances that may damage
the paintwork may fall from
trees.
CAUTION
BEFORE WASHING THE VEHICLE,
COVER THE ENGINE AIR INTAKES
AND THE EXHAUST PIPES.
Reinigen van het voertuig

Reinig het voertuig regelmatig wan-
neer het wordt gebruikt in de volgende
zones of condities:
•
Atmosferische vervuiling (stad
en industriële zones).
•
Zoutgehalte en vochtigheid uit
de atmosfeer (zeegebieden,
warm en vochtig klimaat).
•
Speciale milieu/seizoenscondi-
ties (het gebruik van zout, che-
mische anti-ijsproducten op we-
gen in de winterperiode).
•
Vermijdt vooral dat er op de car-
rosserie afzettingen overblijven
van industriële en vervuilende
stoffen, teervlekken, dode in-
secten, uitwerpselen van vo-
gels, enz. Parkeer het voertuig
niet onder bomen. In sommige
seizoenen kan er uit de bomen
hars, fruit of bladeren vallen die
chemische stoffen bevatten die
schadelijk zijn voor de lak.
LET OP
VOORALEER MEN HET VOERTUIG
WAST, DICHT MEN DE INLATEN VAN
DE AANZUIGLUCHT VAN DE MOTOR
EN DE UITLAATOPENINGEN VAN DE
UITLAAT.
