REMOVING THE FRONT FAIRING

◆

Position the vehicle on the stand, see p.
82 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE ON
THE STAND).

◆

Turn the ignition switch to position “



”.

◆

Unscrew and remove the two side
screws (1).



Unscrew and remove the two upper

screws (2).

Upon reassembly, tighten the screw (2)
moderately, since it is fixed on plastic.

◆

Move the front fairing (3) slightly forward.

◆

Disconnect the electrical connector (4) of
the headlight.

◆

Remove the front fairing (3) completely,
together with the headlight.

Upon reassembly, make sure that the
electric connector (4) is fitted to the
matching connector.

Handle plastic and paint-finished parts
w i t h c a r e t o a v o i d s c r a t c h i n g o r
damage.
