3.5.7 REMOVING THE DRIVING CHAIN PINION

AND OIL FILTER CARTRIDGE

Carefully read 0.2.1 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
INFORMATIONS).

NOTE

The following operations can be performed with-

out removing the engine from the frame.

◆

Unscrew and remove the M10 T.E. screw (1).

◆

Remove the washer (2), the spring washer (3) and the

pinion (4).

NOTE

Where necessary, use the universal sleeve pull-

er to remove the pinion, taking care not to damage the
secondary shaft.

◆

Unscrew and remove the two M6 T.C.E.I. screws (5).

◆

Remove the cover of the oil filter (6) and the O-ring (7).

◆

Remove the oil filter cartridge (8) from the filter housing.
