Sand the front canopy sheeting to match the upper can-
opy cross sheeting. This will give a clean edge with increased
strength. Take the canopy off the fuselage and apply thick CA
to all the corners of canopy cross sheeting from inside the can-
opy. This will increase the strength.

Punch out the three canopy/transmission nose blocks,
CNB, out of the ¼” balsa sheet. Glue the three blocks together
making sure to build them up straight.

Sand the canopy/transmission nose block to the desired
finished shape as shown in the picture. Glue on top of the can-
opy so that the back edge is flush with the back of the canopy.

Using the sticker templates 1, 2, and 3, align and place
on the upper surface of the canopy.

Using a straight edge cut along the lines of the tem-
plates to cut out the window shapes. Cut out and check fit of
the canopy glass. Install after finishing the canopy.

Temporarily install the canopy on the fuselage and sand
the nose section to match the canopy profile.
