Instrument specification and layout

This chapter lists the instrument specifications for the SimpliAmp

™

 Thermal Cycler

using the 96-Well Sample Block.

Site requirements

The SimpliAmp

™

 Thermal Cycler is for indoor use. Ensure that the installation site:

• Meets the spatial and weight requirements (see “System specifications“ on

page 65)

• Meets environmental requirements (see “Environmental requirements“ on

page 63)

• Is within 1 m (3 ft.) of an AC power source receptacle
• Is away from water

Environmental requirements

Ensure that the installation site is maintained under the following conditions:
