Calibration
7.3.3 Current Setting & Measurement Calibration
Please make sure the load in connected (switch is closed) before calibration.
Note
There are only two calibration points under this menu. First set the voltage before calibration.
The recommended range of V-SET is less than 40% rated voltage. The low current range will
be calibrated first. Users can use the default values or reset the calibration points based on the
specification range of the calibration instruments.
Move the cursor to IL-CC field and use the touch keypad or [0]~[9] keys to enter a user defined
low current point, then press the [Enter] key to confirm.
Wait 5 seconds, move the cursor to IL-DAM field, then enter the current reading from the DMM
(select rear input terminals for current shunt DC voltage measurement). Based on the shunt
value, calculate the current from the voltage and enter this value.
There is no need to change IL-READ as it will get the measurement value automatically.
After pressing the
Save
soft key to save the first calibration coefficient, the IH-CC will become
available. Repeat the same process for IH calibration point.
Set the proper voltage and current based on the specification range of the calibration
instruments.
Apply the calculate resistor to make sure the power supply will work under CC mode during
current calibration. When using a programmable load, set the load to CV mode, and setup
the voltage lower than the setup voltage of the power supply. In this way the power supply
will work under CC mode.

7.3.2 Voltage Setting & Measurement Calibration
Please make sure there is NO load connection when calibrating voltage setting and mea-
surement.
Note
Press the
U Set&Meas
soft key.
There are only two calibration points under this menu. The low voltage range will be calibrated
first. Users can use the default values or reset the calibration points based on the specification
range of the calibration instruments.
Move the cursor to VL-SET field and use the touch keypad or [0]~[9] keys to enter a user defined
low voltage point, then press the [Enter] key to confirm.
Wait 5 seconds, move the cursor to VL-DVM field then enter the DMM Vdc reading using the
touch keypad or [0] ~ [9] keys, then press the [Enter] key to confirm.
There is no need to change VL-READ as it will get the measurement value automatically.
After pressing the
Save
soft key to save the first calibration coefficient, the VH-SET will become
available. Repeat the same process for VH calibration point.
Note:
The recommended range for low voltage range calibration point (VL) is from 2% to 18% rated
voltage, and for high voltage range calibration point (VH) is from 82% to 98% rated voltage.
