This item is configurable only if the "Onboard UART
2"
is enabled. This allows you to specify the mode
of serial port2. The available mode selections are:

Select this setting if you installed an Infrared module via
IrDA connector (refer to section 2.3 "Connectors"). This ASKIR setting
allows infrared serial communication at a maximum baud rate of 56K
baud.

HPSIR

Select this setting if you installed an Infrared module in your
system via IrDA connector (refer to section 2.3 "Connectors"). The
HPSIR setting allows infrared serial communication at a maximum baud
rate of 115K baud.

FIR

Select this setting if you installed an Infrared module via IrDA
connector (refer to section 2.3 "Connectors"). This FIR (Fast IR) setting
allows infrared serial communication at a maximum baud rate of 4M
baud.

Sets serial port 2 to operate in normal mode. This is the
default setting.

TxD (Transmit Data) mode for UART, for instance, IR
device, modem, etc. Normally, we suggest you keep
