User’s Guide

The AP55CS integrates a SiS6205 high-performance graphics and

video accelerator. It enhances the display capabilities of the system

with PCI bus through its three-in-one PCI true-color graphic function.

It also enables the system to deliver a high-quality full-motion video

from CD-ROM drives.

The SiS6205 utilizes the shared-memory buffer architecture. This

feature allows the display subsystem to share the system memory.

The following lists the features of the SiS6205 VGA chip:
