power supply
drop error
Since the error is
not caused by the
slave unit alone,
the
“0x0FFF”
value is stored.
The cause may be insufficient voltage of the
external power supply. Carry out the
following:
• Adjust the power voltage of the external
power supply so that it will be within the rating
(21.6 V
–27.6 V). (Recommended voltage is
26.4 V.)
• Check that the power supply lines (24 V, 0
V) are not disconnected or short-circuited.
Also check that the pin assignment was
correct when the link connector was crimped.
• Check that external power supply is
correctly connected to the terminal block. Also
pay attention to short-circuit, incorrect wiring,
and insufficient tightening of the screws.

DP-DN short-
circuit error
Since the error is
not caused by the
slave unit alone,
the
“0x0FFF”
value is stored.
The transmission lines (DP-DN) may be
short-circuited or a current exceeding the
maximum allowable supply current may be
flowing through them. Carry out the following:
• Check that the transmission lines are not
short-circuited. Also check that the pin
assignment was correct when the link
connector was crimped.
• Check that there is no contact between each
transmission line, or there is no incorrect
wiring in the terminal block.
• Modify the cable (line diameter, total length),
units (types, number of connected units) so
that the consumption current of all slave units
will not exceed the supply current.
