3. 4 Cooling timer

The cooling phase of the dryer is controlled by the time set in the cooling timer (7). Typically, depending on the

drying temperature, the cooling time is 1–2 hours. The cooling time must be set to match the circulation time of

the grain in the dryer so that the grain batch will have time to circulate at least one round through the machinery

during the cooling phase.

3.4.2 Setting the cooling time

Set the cooling time using the buttons 3, 4, 5 and 6. Usually, you only need to press the buttons 4 and 5 since

these buttons enable you to set the cooling time with an accuracy of ten minutes.

For example: To set the cooling time to one hour and 30 minutes. Start by pressing the buttons 4 and 5 repeatedly

upward until on the display F is shown 1:30.

To avoid errors while pressing the buttons, you can lock the keys by pressing the SET/LOCK button (2). The text

”LOCK” (D) will then show on the display. Press the SET/LOCK button again to deactivate the key lock.

3.4.3 Interrupting the cooling

Pressing the keys 3–6, set the cooling time on the display F to ”0:00” and press the RESET button (1). The cooling

ends and the signal light "cooling time has ended" will be illuminated.
