the capacity whilst storing. The age of the product can usually be identify
by irreversible loss of capacity. Bicycle manufacturers building bicycles or
pedelecs are legal producer / distributor and have to take responsibility
for the warranty / guarantee. Trained bicycle mechanics who are working
in a commercial environment always have to assume liability when they are
building / setting / or changing anything on the bicycle. This is valid for all
parts such as brakes, chain, sprockets, wheels, rims, spokes, and especi-
ally for activities like fixing the electric drive. As long as safety regulations
are considered and there is no acting against the law, the legislator allo-
wed to add parts to the bicycle. This is also valid for electric drive systems
made by ANSMANN.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
As it is not possible to control the handling, that all assembling rules and-
operating instructions are obeyed and also the impossibility to maintenan-
ce the battery and it’s charging / discharging, ANSMANN in not able to take
any liability for losses, damages or costs. Any claim of compensation which
can be caused by the use, defaults or malfunctions, or is connected to it in
any way, will be refused. We are not liable for damages to people, material
damages and their consequences caused by our delivery. As far as covered
by the law the commitment to pay compensation, no matter by which legal
reasons, limited to the invoice amount of the directly affected products.
This is not valid as far as we have to take liability due to mandatory regula-
tions or serious negligence.
