designed for monitoring a second bedroom, removing the necessity for two baby phones. You can use the
movement detector e.g. to check a bedroom door. When the unit detects a movement, an alarm signal
sounds on the receiver. alternatively, you can connect up a medical movement monitor.
13. VOLUME ON THE RECEIVER
set the receiver volume on the receiver using the volume control (6). the volume cannot be set to ”0” to rule
out an unintentional failure to hear your baby.
14. THE LIGHT STRIP dISPLAy
the light strip (11) displays the noises transmitted optically. green= quiet, red= loud noises. this display
is independent of the volume setting.
14.1 RANGE CHECk, dISPLAy, ALARM SIGNAL
the display flashes if reception is faulty (11.1).
additionally an alarm sounds. this indicates there is no or only poor radio connection between the
transmitter and the receiver. the alarm signal can be turned off using the switch (11.2) when temporary
interference triggers the range check function but reception is not permanently affected. it is advisable to
switch off the alarm signal especially during the night when other radio-operated baby phones or devices
can cause interference, because reception at close quarters (e.g. within the apartment) is still guaranteed.
15. EARPHONE SOCkET
You can connect a MOnO earphone (not included) to this socket (12). this switches off the loudspeaker.
16. ANTENNA
in close range (within the house) you can leave the antenna (13) retracted. this also reduces the risk of
interference from other radio devices. When you need maximum reception (e.g. at the neighbour’s or in
the garden), extend the antenna.
17. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
please ensure the transmitter is at least 1 metre away from the child. using a radio-operated baby phone
cannot replace personal supervision of a child or invalid but is only intended to support it. We cannot accept
any liability beyond the statutory warranty regulations. this applies in particular to the non-foreseen
medical use of radio-operated baby phones.

We confirm that the appliances conform with european directive 89/336/eWg relating to electromagnetic
tolerance as well as with the low-voltage directive 73/23/eWg. radio transmission authorisation is
certified according to ec r&tte directive 1995/5/ec
