11.11. Thread puller
Requirement
In its neutral position thread puller 1 should:
1. be positioned in the middle between A and B.
2. have a clearance of 1 mm to plate 4 and 8 to 12 mm under latch 5.
3. have a clearance of at least 1 mm to thread 6.
•
Adjust connecting rod 1 (nut 2) in accordance wity Requirement
1.
•
Only loosen screws 3 slightly.
•
Adjust bearing plate 4 in accordance with Requirement 2.
•
Tighten screw 3.
Cutting test:
•
Remove bearing plate 4 and carry out a cutting test with a
double thread.
•
Adjust the cutting pressure by turning screw 6.
•
Fit bearing plate 4.
