TO PLAY A PATTERN TO THE EVALUATION BOARD
CONFIGURE THE SPECTRUM ANALYZER
Configure the spectrum analyzer as follows:
Start frequency = 50 MHz.
Stop frequency = 5 GHz.
Resolution bandwidth = 300 kHz.
Use the average rms detector setting.
Choose an input attenuation of 6 dB. This value can be
adjusted later if there are indications that the analyzer is
causing degradations (warnings on the analyzer itself, or
third-order products appearing on the output spectrum).
LOAD AND PLAY PATTERN TO THE
Configure the hardware according to the instructions provided
in the Hardware Setup section.
Complete the following steps to configure the
board and load a single tone at 800 MHz to the on-board FPGA:

Ensure that the program detects the

option and it is selected automatically.

field may not immediately show a clock
frequency.

In the lower portion of the window, choose
Subclass
0
from the
Subclass
dropdown menu (see Figure 9).
The
SYNC Status
indicator may show a green check mark, a
red cross, or a yellow exclamation. If
SYNC Status
indicates a
yellow exclamation, refer to the JESD204B Link Does Not
Come Up section.
