MX Series Relay Receiver Systems
Operation
RF operation
Pressing a button on the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver. The relay corresponding to the
button pressed is activated, closing the contact and controlling the associated device. Contact
closures are momentary and remain closed as long as the transmitter button is pressed and held.
IR operation
Pointing an AMX wireless transmitter at an external IR sensor (IRX-UM+ or IRX-SM+) and
pressing a button on the transmitter sends a signal to the receiver. The relay corresponding to the
pressed button is activated, closing the contact and controlling the associated device. Contact
closures are momentary and remain closed as long as the transmitter button is pressed and held.
For more information on using IR sensors, refer to the
IR Sensors and Receivers
instruction
manual.
