The elements on this page include:
Preset Categories buttons:
Use these buttons to select the type of presets to display in
the Presets buttons:
Player
: Press to open the MP3 Player Control Page (FIG. 17).
MP3 Title Preset buttons
: Press to highlight a Preset for selection.
Up/Down Scroll buttons
: Use these buttons to scroll up/down through files in the
selected playlist.
Player Mode Options
: Select
Random
to play the MP3s in the playlist in random order.
Select
Repeat
to automatically repeat the entire playlist.
Select
: Press to select the highlighted Preset.
Search
: Press to open an on-screen keyboard where you can perform a search for a
Playlist
,
Genre
,
Artist
,
Album
(or
All
). The type of search that is performed depends on
which Preset Category was selected to be displayed on the Preset buttons.
Touch Panel Interface - MP3 Player Control Page
The MP3 Player Control page (FIG. 17) is accessed by pressing a MP3 source button from the
Sources page (FIG. 9), or by first pressing the
Go To Source
button on the
Music
page (FIG. 7) for
a selected audio zone (whose current audio source is an MP3 source), then pressing the Player
button from the Navigation page. From this page you can control features of the MP3 player.
The elements on this page include:
MP3 Transport Controls
: This set of buttons offers the standard transport controls (
play
,
stop
,
pause
,
previous
and
next
) for the MP3 player.
MP3 File Information table
: This table displays information for the currently loaded
MP3 file (
Song Name
,
Artist Name
,
Album Name
,
Playlist Name
and
Genre Title
).
Scroll Up/Down buttons
: Use these buttons to scroll up and down through the playlist.
Player Mode Options
: Select
Random
to play the MP3s in the playlist in random order.
Select
Repeat
to automatically repeat the entire playlist.
Navigator button
: Press to open the MP3 Navigator page (FIG. 16) where you can
navigate the database to locate MP3 files.
• Playlists Press to populate the Preset buttons with Playlists.
• Genre
Press to populate the Preset buttons with Genres.
• Artist
Press to populate the Preset buttons with Artists.
• Album
Press to populate the Preset buttons with Album titles.
When searching for MP3s, you can only search on one character, not on a string of
characters. In this case. if you enter a string for an MP3 search, only the first
character will be used.
