Operational Features

VClink Codec Master Control System

MCU Services

• 

Request Floor

     

Forces MCU to broadcast your video to all other partici-

pants in the conference. If the MCU conference has a Chairman, a floor re-
quest will be sent to the Chairman.

• 

Release Floor

 

    Stops broadcast of your video to other participants.

• 

Take Chair 

    

Requests your site to become the Chairman of the conference.

If no one else is currently Chairman, the MCU gives your site the chair.

• 

Release Chair

     Relinquishes the privileges of chairmanship of the

conference.

• 

View Site

     Allows selection of any remote site for viewing. Requires site

number selection.

• 

End View

     

Releases View Site selection and returns your view to the site

that is currently “on air.”
